UC Santa Barbara MRSEC REU - Future Leaders in Advanced Materials
The UC Santa Barbara Materials Research Laboratory MRSEC will be hosting the NSF sponsored Future Leaders in Advanced Materials REU (FLAM) program for the summer of 2019. Undergraduate students accepted into the program will come to the University of California, Santa Barbara to spend the summer carrying out cutting-edge, meaningful scientific research under the mentorship of MRSEC faculty in an interdisciplinary environment on experimental and computational projects related to magnetic intermetallic mesostructures, polymeric ionic liquids, and resilient soft materials.  Program dates:   June 17th - August 24th, 2019 Compensation: Students receive a $5,000 stipend, plus housing and travel funds Students studying materials science, physics, chemistry
