Now in our 36th year, the Physics REU program at the University of Notre Dame provides opportunities for Physics students to experience research first-hand, under direct supervision of faculty mentors. The  program gives you valuable research experience to help you decide if physics research is right for you. Areas of research include Astronomy, Astrophysics, Biophysics and Complex Systems, Condensed Matter Physics, High Energy and Elementary Particle Physics, and Nuclear Physics. Students will work closely with faculty and graduate students on a variety of current research projects
