Communities and coastlines are under threat from diverse hazards, such as extreme weather, sea level rise and population growth. Join an interdisciplinary team addressing these challenges through a unique multi-institution Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program hosted at East Carolina University. Students will have the opportunity to join a cohort at the Coastal Studies Institute on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Working with faculty from ECU, Clemson University, and the University of Puerto Rico - Arecibo will enable you to learn how to work with a remote team of collaborators - an essential element of modern science!
