Research Experiences for Undergraduates 2023
Experimental and Computational Modeling of Materials and Bio-Molecular Systems
Applications for the 2023 Program will open on the 1st of January 2023 (deadline for non-University of Utah students is Jan 31st).
Faculty members in the Chemistry Department will offer diverse research projects in all areas of Chemistry – see the list of subfields that are represented. Projects will integrate hands-on training in advanced tools or techniques specific to a lab’s expertise – see the list of possible tools or techniques. In addition, this REU program will emphasize the development of data analysis and modeling skills that are broadly applicable to modern Chemistry research. REU participants will be fully integrated in our faculty’s research groups, which address a range of challenging problems in energy, health, environment, and education – see the list of research goals and systems.
