Student interns participate in cutting-edge research at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), working closely with staff scientists and engineers on specific research problems. The format is hybrid, including both in-person and virtual internships. The 11-week appointment runs May 22 – August 3 and includes a $6600 stipend, plus housing and transportation support as needed.
