Assistant Professor of Physics
SUMMARY: The Department of Natural Sciences at Lawrence Technological University (LTU) invites applications for a two-year, non-tenure-track Assistant Professor of Physics beginning in the fall of 2023, with the future possibility of contract extension or conversion to a tenure-track position. The department includes undergraduate programs in biology, chemistry, and physics. We are strongly committed to undergraduate research and involve students in course-based and other research opportunities as early as their freshman year.  There are currently four tenured faculty and one senior lecturer in the physics program, and 14 full-time faculty and staff in the Department of Natural Sciences.  We offer three physics degree tracks: B.S. in Physics, Physics and C
