Teacher In Residence
The Physics and Astronomy Department at Appalachian State University is looking for a Teacher-in-Residence (TIR). Successful applicants for the TIR position will be experienced teachers of public high school physics. Candidates are especially encouraged to apply if they: (a) can show evidence of teaching excellence at the high school level; (b) possess a strong background in physics education and pedagogy; (c) are committed to increasing the number of physics teachers; (d) are master’s degree holders and/or National Board Certified teachers.
