Staff Associate II
The Department of Applied Physics and Applied Mathematics (APAM) at Columbia University in the City of New York invites applications for a Staff Associate II.  This position will be responsible for all aspects of the Applied Physics Teaching Laboratory, Plasma Physics Laboratory and Machine Shop. The Staff Associate will assist faculty the setup of the High Beta Tokamak, which is associated with laboratory course. Duties involve but are not limited to: Provide technical assistance and advice to users on specimen preparation, operation of the instruments and interpretation of data, provide advice and assistance and/or assign an appropriate subordinate or trained user to meet requests of users that have not been trained, operate appropriate instruments, obtain and interpret data in
