The Rensselaer Physics NSF-REU site is based in Troy, New York, and will run 10 weeks from late May to early August, 2022. Potential research fields include Condensed Matter Theory and Experiment, Computational Physics, Particle Astrophysics, Galactic Structure, Optical Physics, and Solar Energy Conversion. We will consider all applicants, but most strongly encourage students from colleges without graduate research programs and students in STEM under-represented groups to apply.The first round of offers is anticipated to go out prior to March 1. For full consideration, students are encouraged to submit all materials by February 15, although applications will be considered until available positions are filled.
